Funny Xcode Errors

So most people who does software development understands the old adage that "as a piece of software gets more complicated, the errors become more difficult to track down." No where is that more evident than in Xcode! It seems that there are just times that you need to restart it and start again.

I'm using Version 13.2.1 (13C100) and have found that none of the previews work, not even for the easiest of code such as:

import SwiftUI

struct FrequencyView: View {

var body: some View {

Text("Hello World!")

}

}

struct FrequencyView_Previews: PreviewProvider {

static var previews: some View {

FrequencyView()

}

}

So when we look at the diagnostics, we see the following message.

Which means absolutely nothing to me. After some digging around (and deleting a lot of *.pcm files chasing down a different non-existent bug), I figure out that if you turn off "Automatically Update Canvas", it works.
